Personal Training

What is personal training?

In personal training, you work closely with your personal trainer.

Your personal trainer is someone who has the qualities, experience and knowledge to create an exercise plan based on your needs and physical condition! This is for anyone who wants to work on their health. Every person is different and that is why a personal exercise and training plan is so important to achieve and maintain your goals.

A personal trainer will work with you on a healthy and energetic lifestyle for a longer period of time. He is your own motivator, inspirator, coach, trainer, supervisor, mental coach, confidant and gives you advice on sports, exercise and nutrition.

Goals

What are your goals towards a healthy and energetic lifestyle? What would you like?

  • To lose weight responsibly
  • Maintain or improve your condition
  • Change your lifestyle
  • Balance body and mind
  • Work on your strength and posture
  • Prevention of back problems

How do you determine your goals?

You do this in consultation with your personal trainer. He or she can assess whether those goals are feasible and realistic for you. Someone who has done little to improve his or her fitness for years cannot run a marathon within a few months.

How do you achieve your goals?

Your personal trainer will create a customized training program. Together we will determine the proper guidance and choose forms of exercise that suit you and your goals.

At longvitality we use fitness training, functional training, strength training, etc. and we work with your own body weight, the kettlebell, dynaband, fitball, medicineball, speedladder (SAQ training: speed, flexibility, agility) and strength training with (mostly) free weights.

A good intake interview and assessment forms the basis for a safe and realistic training program. The intake interview provides insight into your lifestyle, eating and exercise habits and medical background. This is completely free and without obligation.
